Job description generator

Most job descriptions are missing the same three things: what the person will actually do day to day, what is genuinely required versus nice to have, and how the role is set up practically. A wishlist of tools is not a job description.

This assembles a structured draft from what you type in, in a consistent order. There is no AI writing here — it is your own words, arranged.

Questions people ask

Does this use AI to write the description?
No. It takes exactly what you type into each field and arranges it in a fixed structure. If a section reads thin, that is because the input for it was thin — add more detail above and regenerate.
Should I disclose a salary range?
Where local law requires it you must, and even where it is optional, a stated range shortens your funnel by filtering out mismatched applicants before they apply.
How many must-have requirements is too many?
Past five or six, you start filtering out people who would have been fine in the role. Split anything beyond that into "must have" and "nice to have" honestly, not everything you’d prefer belongs in the first list.
