Time to hire calculator

Time to hire is rarely slow because of one bad day. It is slow because a few stages quietly take longer than anyone tracks.

Enter the days spent at each stage and this adds them into a total, then points at whichever stage is eating the most of your calendar.

Questions people ask

What is a good time to hire in India?
It varies enormously by role and seniority, so there is no single benchmark worth quoting here. What matters is whether your own number is moving up or down round over round, and which stage moved it.
Is time to hire the same as time to fill?
No. Time to fill usually starts from the day the requisition is approved, which is earlier than the first shortlist this calculator starts from. Keep the definition consistent when you compare numbers across quarters.
The decision stage is my slowest one. What does that usually mean?
Commonly a scheduling gap: the panel finished but a debrief meeting had to be found on busy calendars. Async written feedback due within a fixed number of hours after each interview tends to close that gap fastest.
