## About the role

Job ID 2026-14375\. A Technical Writer 2 role in Technology - Engineering & Testing, hybrid with three days a week in the Hyderabad office\. You create and maintain the software documentation for Hyland's products, working closely with R&D, product and editorial teams\. Mention the job ID when you send your resume\.

## What you'll do

Research and maintain product knowledge and write accurate documentation for new and moderately complex software\. Update and edit existing documentation to match software changes and the house style\. Meet subject matter experts and R&D colleagues to verify that the documentation matches the software\. Check that software behaves as expected and escalate bugs, design issues and usability concerns\. Take part in product direction and design discussions\. Troubleshoot the authoring environment and improve the layout and accuracy of your documentation\.

## Looking for

A bachelor's degree, preferably in English or Technical Communication, with experience writing concise, correct and well-structured technical documentation for software\. Working experience with desktop authoring and publishing tools and the ability to pick up new ones\. Strong editing skills and close attention to detail\. Good collaboration with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams\. Good written and spoken English and sound independent judgement\.

## Nice to have

Installing, configuring and troubleshooting software\. Contributing to product direction and design discussions\. Advanced technical writing tasks and documentation process improvements\. Driving software bugs and usability concerns to resolution with R&D\. Familiarity with Agile or iterative development and juggling several documentation projects at once\.
