## About the role

Slice \(NielsenIQ\) is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Engineering team\. You will work on Java-based public web services and contribute to the evolution of our high-volume, distributed infrastructure that powers data extraction, classification, and low-latency delivery to consumer and partner applications\.

## What you'll do

Serve as a recognized expert in software design, architecture, and performance optimization across the domain\.; Lead end-to-end design and implementation of critical, high-impact systems with a focus on long-term scalability and maintainability\.; Define, document, and enforce system-wide design patterns, coding standards, and architectural principles\.

## Looking for

You have at least 6\+ years of experience building production software and a degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering\.; You are an expert software developer in a Java environment\.; You have outstanding strategic thinking and strong analytical and communication skills\.
