## What you'll do

Develop complex code from functional specifications and translate software requirements into design specifications\. Run complex peer code reviews and explain the broader impact of software changes\. Write automated tests, including unit tests, and contribute to a delivery pipeline covering test automation, security and performance\. Research and resolve escalations for production issues and code defects\. Lead on team standards, planning, estimation, solution demos and implementation design\. Mentor, coach and give feedback to team members\.

## Looking for

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 6-10 years of software engineering\. Expertise in data structures, algorithms and software design applied to production systems\. Significant experience with one or more of Java, C/C\+\+, C\#, Objective-C, Python or JavaScript, in Windows or Linux environments using open source tools\. Experience with build environments, delivery pipelines and continuous delivery, plus test automation and continuous integration tools\. Strong written and spoken English and strong critical thinking\.

A track record of mentoring and developing engineers\. Turning strategic goals into new designs\. Curiosity and fast learning in a changing engineering landscape\. Building consensus across cross-functional teams\. Flexibility for up to 10% travel\.
