# Senior Data Engineer at HackerOne

## About the role

HackerOne is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the discovery, architecture, and development of high-performance, scalable data products and solutions\. Joining our growing, distributed organization, you'll be instrumental in building the foundation that powers HackerOne's enterprise transformation from human-powered operations to data-driven, AI-powered, and human-led agentic operations\.

## What you'll do

Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of scalable, secure, and intelligent data products and solutions that support HackerOne’s transformation into an AI-first organization\. Partner across business and engineering teams to identify high-leverage opportunities for automation, integration, and system modernization\.

## Looking for

6\+ years of experience in a Data, Engineering, Science, or similar role w/ proven track record of leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-first data products and solutions \(preferably using Python\)\. Extensive hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, products, and solutions\.

## Nice to have

Proven track record of driving innovation, adopting emerging technologies, and implementing industry best practices\. Experience building and managing a cloud deployed data lake Experience working with Kubernetes\.
