# Principal Cloud Engineer - DevOps at Hyland

## About the role

Job ID 2026-14292\. A cloud engineering role in Technology - Engineering & Testing, hybrid with three days a week in the Hyderabad office\. You build and grow Hyland's Internal Developer Platform: the platform components, automation and tooling that standardise how teams develop and ship\. Mention the job ID when you send your resume\.

## What you'll do

Build and maintain the Internal Developer Platform, including platform components, automation and internal tooling\. Improve CI/CD pipelines and standard delivery workflows, and contribute to service templates, golden paths and self-service capabilities\. Work with development teams to streamline engineering processes and drive adoption of platform tools\. Integrate platform components with internal and external systems and work with containers and Kubernetes\. Improve observability and reliability through logging, metrics and monitoring\. Follow secure engineering practice for IAM, RBAC and secret management\.

## Looking for

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a record of contributing to internal platforms, DevOps work or developer tooling\. Experience with at least one of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or Java, and practical experience with at least one cloud provider, AWS preferred\. Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure as code, Docker containers and Kubernetes\. Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and building automation and integrations\. A basic grasp of observability and of secure infrastructure practice\.

## Nice to have

Internal Developer Platform concepts such as service templates, golden paths and self-service workflows\. Hands-on AWS and cloud-native architecture patterns\. Platform engineering practice including developer experience work\. Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams\. Curiosity and ownership of assigned work\.
